Distinctively Remembered was formed in 2006 under Texas laws. The company was founded as a tool to pioneer ways to help people with disabilities and assist those with challenges to fulfill their distinctive purpose and become a productive part of their communities.

 

Our service includes caregiving training, support for youth with disabilities, and employment assistance to a variety of individuals with challenges and barriers to self-sufficiency.

 

For over 16 years, we have utilized leadership training, business management, human resources expertise and event management mastery to benefit the field of serving people with disabilities by providing person-centered, effective services to people with a variety of challenges. With a variety of partnerships waiting to benefit from our services, our size, scope, and experience motivate our organization to constantly utilize creative new strategies to innovative approaches that would help and care for those within our program's reach.

 

Our organization utilizes best practices that are nationally recognized and are being adopted by organizations around the country servicing our targeted population through events and outreach, training and skill development, entrepreneurship, and caregiver support. Distinctively Remembered provides community resources, innovative community job training and placement, volunteer and educational opportunities, including CPR and First Aid training.

 

Additionally, we are a resource for caregivers – many of whom are the primary support to those that have developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, brain injury, mental illness, and often accompanying physical disabilities and other challenges.
